At this year's IFT, Samyang will present healthy and functional ingredient solutions by demonstrating various prototypes and samples.

1. Fiber-enhanced 'Kombucha' applied FiberestTM Resistant Dextrin with peach, lemon, and pineapple flavors.

2. No-sugar but fiber-enhanced ‘Scone’ applied both Nexweet® Allulose and FiberestTM Resistant Dextrin.

3. High-fiber ‘Dark chocolate’ with 50% less-sugar applied Crystalline Kestose.

Nexweet® Allulose is a nearly 0kcal (0.4kcal) sweetener with 70% sweetness compared to sucrose and can be used as a 'No added sugar' and 'Zero-calorie' solution in various food and beverage applications.

FiberestTM Resistant Dextrin is a soluble dietary fiber indigestible to human digestive systems. FiberestTM Resistant Dextrin can be used as a fiber-enforced claim solution and a sugar reduction solution with bulking properties.

Kestose, a DP3-based fructooligosaccharide, is the only crystalline type of dietary fiber with over 99% of fiber content. Samyang suggests using Crystalline Kestose for products, whereas powder-type dietary fiber could not be used, such as confectionery and baked goods.
