Samyang Corp.'s Allulose wins U.S. FDA’s GRAS certification
2020.03.20Samyang Corp.'s "Allulose" has set the stage for its entry into the global market with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)'s GRAS certification.
Allulose is a sweet ingredient in figs and grapes and is called the optimal next-generation sweetener because it has a sweet taste similar to sugar. It is a type of rare sugar that exists in very small quantities in the natural world, but mass production is possible by using enzyme technology.
